About Us

In 2005, Shannon Riley and Cindy Sauers created Shoefly and Sox so they could bring their children to work with them. With a family loan, a truckload of donated and recycled objects to use for décor, and a whole bunch of elbow grease, their now-thriving business was born.

Shoefly and Sox is a proud recipient of the Main Street Program’s Business of the Year award.  We are widely recognized for our charitable work in the community, and work hard to provide a high level of service in a fun, casual environment.

Riley and Sauers both have difficult-to-fit feet, so their struggles to find the perfect shoe have translated into a unique desire to help others with finicky feet.  And because no one should have to sacrifice style to be comfortable, the pair is always on the lookout for high quality brands that provide both. 

Twice each year, Shoefly and Sox hosts a shoe drive, and has donated over 6,000 pairs of shoes since opening in 2005.  If you’d like to be notified about the upcoming shoe drives and events, please join our mailing list.

Our commitment to our community and our planet keeps our business growing. Shoefly and Sox carries a large selection of eco-friendly shoes and socks, participates in and sponsors local events, and donates and shops locally. We reward our customers with a shoe club – get your eighth pair of regularly priced shoes at half price!  We also offer private parties and host special events on a regular basis, so please contact us if you have an idea for an event.
